Welcome to the beautiful autumn in Jämtland!
Paddle through the clear clean water and be fascinated by the sparkling colours in autumn.The air is high and clear and the forest is crowded with all kinds of berrys. (which you can eat ) You have a big chance to see a moose, reindeer or a beaver. A little bit cold at night - but some days could be really like in the summer. Most of the mosquitoes are gone on most places.
On the mountaintops you can see the first snow -but the water in the river is warmer now than in the summer and some fog in the morning can be seen. Fishing could be very good in autumn -grayling -perch --pike....
Take a trip in the autumn and discover all this -but take an extra warm sleepingbag with you and a lappish tent (which you can rent here) with possibility to make a fire in ( warm and nice -easy to put up) some extra clothes and dont forget a camera.
